Bikes Needed for West Bay Opera Artists

West Bay Opera is proud of its host family program.  Each season, opera-loving families in Palo Alto and surrounding communities open their spare bedrooms to our out-of-town artists. This allows singers and directors to have comfortable lodgings within easy commute of the Holt Building, where most of the rehearsals take place, and to be in contact with people in the community. It’s an enriching experience for everyone. In order for the arrangement to work well, we offer bicycles to those artists who do not have their cars with them. For our upcoming production of Der Freischütz (pronounced, roughly, FRY-shoots) we are going to need more bikes than we have.  Are you able to lend or donate a bicycle? A donation is a donation. You can probably write it off, and you will make an up-and-coming singer very happy. Moreover, we will list you and your generous donation on our program.
