Act I: A bay on the Norwegian coast
Steersman After taking shelter in a protected cove during a storm, the Steersman (Omar Gutierrez Crook) keeps watch while the crew rests below decks.
Song To keep himself awake, the Steersman (Gerald Seminatore) sings to the south wind that will carry him back to his sweetheart.
Ghost Ship As the Steersman dozes, the Dutchman’s ghost ship sails into the cove.
Dutchman For the first time in seven years, the Dutchman (Douglas Nagel) sets foot on land.
Dutchman Bound by a curse to sail endlessly over the seas, the Dutchman (Bryan Glenn Davis) contemplates his fate.
Underwater Hoping to escape the curse, the Dutchman (Bryan Glenn Davis) has sought release through death, but to no avail.
Hope The Dutchman (Douglas Nagel) fears that redemption though a woman’s true love is but a vain hope.
Ghost Ship Daland (Peter Graham) and the Steersman (Omar Gutierrez Crook) are surprised to discover the red-sailed ship when the storm abates.
Dutchman The Dutchman (Douglas Nagel) tells of his endless search for a home port.
Bargain The Dutchman (Bryan Glenn Davis) offers Daland (John Bischoff) a share of his treasure for a night’s lodging.
Home Cheered by the prospect of a rich son-in-law, Daland (Peter Graham) invites the Dutchman (Douglas Nagel) to follow him home to the nearby village.
Cast Off Daland (John Bischoff), the Steersman (Gerald Seminatore) and the crew prepare to cast off as the Dutchman (Bryan Glenn Davis) promises to follow.
Ghost Red The Flying Dutchman ghost ship prepares to follow Daland.


Act II: The main room of Daland’s house
Gazing Mary (Sally Mouzon) is disturbed to find Senta (Gail Sullivan) gazing at the old portrait of the Dutchman instead of spinning with the rest of the women.
Caution Mary (Sally Mouzon) warns Senta (Gail Sullivan) about the dangers of dreaming when there is work to be done.
Ballad? Senta (Paula Goodman Wilder) asks Mary (Donna Olson) to sing the ballad of the Dutchman, but Mary refuses.
Senta Senta (Paula Goodman Wilder) acts out the ballad of the Dutchman.
Story Even Mary (Sally Mouzon) stops working to listen to Senta (Gail Sullivan) sing the ballad of the Dutchman.
Erik Arrives Erik (Benjamin Bongers) arrives just as Senta (Paula Goodman Wilder) vows that the pale shipmaster will find his redemption through her.
Proposal Erik (Vincent Chambers) offers marriage to Senta (Gail Sullivan).
Fate The Dutchman (Bryan Glenn Davis) asks Senta (Gail Sullivan) if he can find peace from his torment in her love.


Act III: The port near Daland’s village
Flowers Overheard by the Dutchman (Bryan Glenn Davis), Erik (Vincent Chambers) reminds Senta (Gail Sullivan) of the day she confessed her love for him.
Trio Erik (Benjamin Bongers) tries to prevent Senta (Paula Goodman Wilder) from pledging herself to the Dutchman (Douglas Nagel).
Blood Red Convinced that Senta’s promise to him was not sincere, the Dutchman orders his crew to make ready to sail.
Farewell Determined to end the Dutchman’s torment, Senta (Gail Sullivan) promises that her faithfulness will bring him salvation and throws herself into the sea.
Heaven Erik (Benjamin Bongers) bids a final farewell to Senta (Paula Goodman Wilder) and the Dutchman (Douglas Nagel) as they ascend to Heaven.
